Sydnee’s Pet Grooming Academy Application

Pet grooming is a very fast paced, physical, and hands-on work environment. You should be in a physical position to perform all the duties that the program will require. This job is not recommended for people whom have had previous injuries that may be irritated or worsened by daily physical work.

Students must be 18 years or over and have a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate. Students must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and be physically able to properly and safely handle dogs and be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time. Students must be able to read and speak English. Students must be able to follow written and verbal direction and retain the information that is taught.
